80s New Wave Deep Cuts | All Vinyl Live Mix | Psychedelic Furs, Depeche Mode & More

This one's for the kids who read the NME, taped songs off the radio, and felt like certain records understood them better than anyone around them did. A live all-vinyl mix diving deep into the heart of 80s new wave — not just the obvious hits, but the tracks that built a subculture. Moody, melodic, and dripping with atmosphere. The kind of music that sounded like it came from somewhere more interesting than where you were, and made you want to find your way there. The Psychedelic Furs appear twice — once with the brooding romanticism of Love My Way, and once with Pretty In Pink, a song so perfectly of its era it almost hurts. Depeche Mode's Personal Jesus rolls in like a gospel sermon from a darker church. INXS stretch out into the cinematic unease of Original Sin. The Cure remind you that Friday can feel like salvation. And tucked alongside the better-known names are some genuine hidden gems — Seona Dancing's More To Lose (yes, that Seona Dancing), B Movie's ethereal Nowhere Girl, Romeo Void's wired anxiety, and Propaganda's icy, swooping Duel. Pet Shop Boys, The Fixx, Real Life, Flock Of Seagulls — every track here earns its place. This is a set that rewards the true fans and might just send newcomers down a very rewarding rabbit hole. Raincoats optional. Eyeliner encouraged.
