PHILIPPINE COFFEE IS TAKING OVER | Knowing Our Origins: Lake Napalit, Bukidnon

We spent nearly two weeks on Lake Napalit in Pangantucan, Bukidnon. Every morning was a dream, watching the morning fog roll over the mountain range and through the trees. Being in the middle of the ecosystem that produces this coffee gave us a newfound appreciation for what ends up in our cups. Lake Napalit is situated in Pangantucan, Bukidnon, one of the most important coffee growing regions in the Philippines. The farmers here are producing fine robusta and sweet coffees that are absolutely incredible. We came here to do the Q Processing Professional course for Canephora, an internationally recognized program that trains coffee professionals to evaluate and improve the processing of robusta coffee. After processing lots of coffees and speaking with the farmers, we had so many stories and thoughts we knew we wanted to share. The farmers we met, and the stories they shared about growing coffee on these mountains, are what this video is really about.
