Winter vaccinations 2026

The 2026/27 winter vaccination programme is now underway across Dumfries and Galloway, with invitations being sent out in stages. In this short video, Valerie White, Director of Public Health at NHS Dumfries and Galloway, and Gemma Stewart, Immunisation Specialist Nurse, explain who is eligible for flu and COVID vaccination, when you can expect to hear from us and why taking up the offer is so important this winter. If you’re eligible but haven’t heard from us yet, please don’t worry. Appointments are still being arranged and your invitation will be coming. Watch the video to find out more.
