Grace Holds The Line Unplugged - Alan Stone

Grace Holds the Line is a dark, patient song about grace remaining unbroken when the road, the heart, and the circumstances do not. It carries a slow-burning, melancholic, blues-rooted rock feel with a spacious late-70s album-rock atmosphere. The song is warm, restrained, reflective, and Christ-centered without sounding like conventional church music. At its core, Grace Holds the Line is about standing in pain, uncertainty, and weariness and realizing that grace has not moved. Melancholy without despair. Weight without theatrics. Faith without performance. The unplugged version strips the song down even further, leaving Alan’s voice, acoustic wood and strings, silence, and the lyric itself to carry the emotion. Alan
