Short on time? Join me for this 10-minute Pilates workout featuring 6 essential exercises to keep your body moving on a busy day.
This quick full-body Pilates session combines spinal mobility, core strength, hip stability and upper-body control. Whether you're fitting in a short movement break between tasks or simply don't have time for a longer workout, this is an easy way to make a little space for movement.
In this 10-minute Pilates workout, we'll practise:
Shoulder Bridge – Strengthen the glutes and hamstrings while mobilising the spine.
Supine Spine Twist – Explore spinal rotation and improve rotational mobility.
The Roll Up – Challenge abdominal strength, spinal articulation and control.
Side Kicks – Work the hips and glutes while maintaining pelvic stability.
Side Bend – Challenge the obliques, shoulder stability and lateral strength.
Swimming – Strengthen the back muscles and develop coordination through the trunk and limbs.
What you'll need: A Pilates mat. No additional equipment required.
Level: Choose a variation that suits your current ability and work at a pace that allows you to maintain control and good technique.
You don't always need a long workout to move with intention. Six well-chosen Pilates exercises can give you an opportunity to work on strength, mobility and coordination, even when your schedule is full.
