DAVIES MWILA GIVES ALLEGED ATTACKERS 30 DAYS TO APOLOGIZE BM8/ECL Movement National Chairperson Davies Mwila has given individuals he accuses of attacking and harassing him 30 days to publicly apologize, while urging those involved to report themselves to the police. Mr Mwila says the incident occurred at the Supreme Court premises in Lusaka following an altercation with Clement Tembo after proceedings related to the Lima Constituency election petition. He maintains that he did not provoke anyone and remained calm during the incident. The former Patriotic Front Secretary-General says he and his colleagues had gone to court to show solidarity with Lima Member of Parliament Kelvin Kaunda. Mr Mwila has also called for respect, describing himself as a senior citizen who served as a Cabinet minister and PF Secretary-General. Meanwhile, he has cautioned political parties against assuming that their stay in power is permanent, saying political power is temporary.
