Overall: 19:57.24 - 14th Overall (11th in Age Cat.) Stage 1: Thunderbolt - 2:08.19 (10th) Stage 2: Speed Trap - 2:45.07 (29th) Crash Stage 3: Whipsaw/Ebb - 2:39.46 (11th) Stage 4: Loam/ Eh Horizon - 2:18.82 (25th) Crash Stage 5: Bermasaurus - 3:21.34 (27th) Stage 6: Red Trail - 3:38.46 (9th) Stage 7: Overflow - 3:05.86 (13th) It was a physical day with the 5 laps at East Bluff, ending with the technical climb to Red Trail and Brockway to Overflow. We had perfect weather and good moral going throughout the day. I was a little frustrated with my slide-out crashes on Speed Trap and Loam Rider. Speed Trap, I had no idea that root was there, not feeling any issues there in practice, until it slammed me on the ground in a hurry during the race run. Loam rider felt like a great run until I messed it up right at the end. I forgot how soon that right turn for the steep line came up and just wasn’t prepared. I was very glad I didn’t mess up the Red Trail climb that has been plaguing me the last few races, finally getting that run clean. Overall, it was a great day riding with Mob members, Jace and Fuller, as well as all the other awesome riders that come to all these events!
