Damsna School Committee Expresses Gratitude to UT Administration for Sanctioning Long-Pending School Reconstruction Fund Kargil, July 2: The Sl Management Committee of the Damsna Village have expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the UT Administration for sanctioning funds for the reconstruction of the Government Middle School, Damsna, fulfilling a long-pending demand of the local residents. The committee stated that the school building had remained in a dilapidated condition for several years, causing immense hardship to students and teachers. Despite repeated representations and continuous efforts by the community, the issue remained unresolved for a long time. With the recent approval of reconstruction funds, the long-awaited demand has finally been fulfilled, bringing relief and renewed hope to the people of Damsna. The committee extended special thanks to Commissioner/Secretary Bhanu Prabha and the Director of School Education, Ladakh, for their sincere support and commitment towards strengthening the education sector in the Union Territory. They appreciated the administration's positive response to the genuine concerns of the local community. The committee also expressed hope that the UT Administration will continue to prioritize educational infrastructure and undertake similar initiatives to improve learning facilities across remote areas of Kargil and Ladakh. The members reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the smooth implementation of the reconstruction work and wished for continued progress in the education sector for the benefit of future generations.
