The dispute between Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and his sister Y. S. Sharmila over the Yelahanka Palace in Bengaluru continues to attract public attention. While Jagan reportedly maintains that the property belongs to him, Sharmila claims that she also has a share in it. The palace is said to have two separate buildings divided by a wall, with Jagan occupying one building and Sharmila associated with the other. The ongoing disagreement has now come into focus following Sharmila's reported decision to hold her daughter Anjali Reddy's wedding at the Yelahanka Palace. Jagan has reportedly raised security concerns about conducting the wedding at the property and has issued a letter in which he repeatedly refers to the palace as his house. This has led to speculation about whether the dispute is also connected to concerns over ownership and property rights. Meanwhile, an earlier letter attributed to Vijayamma has resurfaced on social media, renewing discussions about the alleged lack of a final property settlement between the siblings. Another letter, reportedly issued in Bharathi Reddy's name, claims that 13 acres of land at Yelahanka were gifted to her by her parents as dowry and argues that Sharmila has no rights over the property. However, questions remain about the authenticity and origin of this letter, and whether it was genuinely released by Bharathi Reddy or circulated by others. So far, Jagan, Sharmila and Bharathi Reddy have not publicly clarified the latest developments. Amid the controversy, a 2009 report published by The Times of India has reportedly resurfaced online. The article discussed Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy's visit to Bengaluru in January 2009 and mentioned Sharmila's housewarming ceremony at the Yelahanka Palace on January 16, which was also her daughter Anjali's birthday. According to the account, several members of the family attended the occasion, including Rajasekhara Reddy, Jagan and Bharathi Reddy. The report has sparked fresh debate among social media users about Sharmila's connection to the property and whether she has a legitimate claim to a share. Sharmila is reportedly continuing to invite political leaders and prominent personalities to her daughter's wedding, with no clear indication that the venue will be changed. Will the wedding take place at the Yelahanka Palace despite the objections? What does the 2009 newspaper report reveal about the family's connection to the property? And will the siblings finally resolve their long-running property dispute?
