They allege that, while YSR was Chief Minister, Jagan forged signatures and accumulated hundreds of crores of rupees. There are also allegations that he offered ₹1,500 crore to Sonia Gandhi in an attempt to secure the Chief Minister’s position. Furthermore, his critics accuse him of accumulating enormous wealth through sand, liquor, and mining businesses during his tenure as Chief Minister. They claim that he established major business interests for his daughters abroad using that wealth, while allegedly refusing to share family assets with his own mother and sister. Some critics have even expressed fears about what might happen to his mother and sister if the matter were not receiving media attention, drawing comparisons with the fate of his uncle.
