Transport for Wales Class 756s - Testing, training, and introduction into passenger service in 2024

A few clips of Class 756 units in action on the Welsh Valley lines. They are Tri-Mode units with capability of running on overhead power lines, their own batteries (for short distances) or diesel. Testing and training runs in 2024 culminated in them being introduced into passenger service during November 2024. When the Class 398 Tram Train units enter service (late in 2025 or early 2026) these units will transfer to a different Valley Line, the Rhymney Line.
