🌱 Which raised bed method grows the most potatoes? In this video, I dig up and compare the potato harvest from 3 different raised beds to see which growing method performs best. Watch how I built the hugelkultur raised bed:    • From Backyard Mess to Productive Garden | ...   This year I tested three approaches: the Lazy Method, the Common Method, and a Hugelkultur Method. I harvested one potato plant from each bed, weighed the potatoes, and compared both the harvest size and potato size. 🥔 The results were surprisingly different: 🌱 Lazy Method: 274g of potatoes 🌿 Common Method: 653g of potatoes 🪵 Hugelkultur Method: 508g of potatoes At first glance, the Common Method is the clear winner. But there’s an important twist — the hugelkultur raised bed was built and planted about one month later than the other two beds. Despite having less growing time, the hugelkultur potatoes performed surprisingly well, and the plants actually grew larger than the plants in the other beds. So, which method would I choose? After looking at the results, I think hugelkultur may be the winner — but what do you think?
