Silver Week—a five-day autumn holiday in Japan—has brought cars from across the country to Nasu. But instead of blue skies, everyone finds rain, rain, and a roaring typhoon. Then the storm moves east, the clouds break, and sunlight strikes the rain-soaked Route 4. Engines start, horns sound, and everybody heads for HANK’S—the fictional drive-in at the heart of this story. Today is a holiday. Tomorrow is another day off. So forget the clock and rock until sunrise! The song begins with an ominous bass riff, a thunderous drum explosion, and raging electric guitar. As the storm clears, it transforms into hot, joyful rock and roll filled with boogie-woogie piano, handclaps, saxophone, and group shouts. This is the English-language debut of Route 4 Hornets—a wild celebration of taking back a holiday nearly lost to the rain!
