The updated electric SUV comes with a significantly more powerful 170 kW rear-mounted electric motor, up from the previous 100 kW unit, producing 380 Nm of torque and enabling a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of just 7.3 seconds—which is reflected in its new “7.3s” designation. The upgraded Sealion 7 also introduces DiSus-C adaptive damping, which continuously adjusts the suspension behaviour based on driving conditions to enhance ride comfort and stability. In addition, it features DiPilot 100 Level 2 ADAS, combining multiple driver-assistance technologies to provide added support during both highway and urban driving. Powering the SUV is BYD’s 71.8 kWh Blade Battery, which remains unchanged from the previous model and offers a claimed driving range of 440 km on a single charge.
