Somewhere in New York City, After Dusk

a short film by danny wong. All footage captured on Sept 13, 2026 Weather: 72°F/ 23°C, mostly overcast Shot on Sony A7R V Leica Summilux-M 50mm f/1.4 ASPH A Philosophy of Adaptation. Tonight was not supposed to become a film. I went out just to take some photographs and enjoy the night. Somewhere along the way, that plan changed. I started filming instead. Perhaps that is the thing about plans. No matter how carefully we make them, they will never be able to catch up with change. Life moves too quickly. Circumstances shift. Unexpected moments appear. Sometimes, we simply find ourselves doing something we never intended to do. Adaptation is not always about having a perfect backup plan. Sometimes, it is simply about paying attention to what is happening in front of us and allowing ourselves to change with it. Tonight, the plan changed. So I did too. Thank you for watching.
