It looked slow. It wasn't. In 1987, the Buick GNX shocked supercars. What if it never died? The 1987 Buick GNX became a legend for one simple reason: nobody expected it. A boxy Buick. A 3.8-liter V6. One turbo. And enough performance to embarrass cars with far more exotic badges. But Buick never built another GNX. So we imagined what could have happened if the story had continued. Our fictional 2027 Buick GNX keeps the original philosophy: don't look fast. Just be fast. A 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6. Electric assistance. 550 horsepower. Rear-wheel drive. 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. Aluminum structure with carbon-fiber body components. Adaptive suspension. 0–60 mph in 3.3 seconds. And instead of hiding its history, our 2027 evolution carries it forward — from the square proportions and fender vents to the numbered plaque inside. The original had one turbo. Our Reborn GNX has two. Turn up the volume for the Grand Finale. CHAPTERS 0:00 — The Buick Nobody Saw Coming 0:16 — The Story of the 1987 GNX 2:16 — Don't Look Fast.
