A Tropical Island In The Middle Of Bangkok? - Ep.3

The freedom of early retirement has me off to Thailand with a one-way ticket. After spending a few days in Bangkok and exploring two different neighborhoods, I realized I was close to a tropical island in the middle of Bangkok called the "Green Lung" (Bang Kachao). Of course, once again, I chose to walk a few miles in the boiling heat with 40 pounds of luggage to get the up-close experience along the way that I can't get from a taxi. With only a 5-minute ferry ride, I was transported from the chaotic streets of the city into a mostly calm island setting, giving me a quick escape into a different world. I love it when my plan "Fitz Whatever."
