I woke inside the silent dark ...where nothing had a name Inside the Void a waking spark ...where every view's the same! No sky above, no ground below, I haven't even got a hand, - ... to touch my own face. I found faith and tried then so many times to move into the open space! I stepped out as a newborn ... in burning dreamless light and thought that I could ever learn The only thought - inside And every thought I took inside - began to look at me An I thought the thought was showing me ...the world I had to know I thought the light I need to see To join the starlight flow I followed every thought I had And watched them shape the view Some turned dark and slipped away While shining only a few I thought I was just outside the dark I thought I'd passed But every plane ...I walked through every thought Became a thought of the past And every time I looked within I saw the same old door The more I tried then to think I was losing faith to the core The stars were moving far away the worlds began to turn I touched the edge of unknown realms and felt the distance burn I tried to bring the shining thought and make it glow like sun I thought that thought could hold the world and keep it all as one But every thought I took inside became another frame And everything I thought I knew Had no bearing name. I do remember... ... so I must! ...be here, - always, - now! I thought that something must be near To fill a new world with the bliss at last! I've lost and made the loss a fear I build the world from scratch Of every thought In mind - so clear And hopeless at the same time I made the little shadows grow To make the thought a door But all I saw, - all things before The only Void - my mind Ignored Он. The thought was vivid like the words I heard once long before It struck me like a flash of light and split apart the door I saw the thought was only a frame and could not be the core My mind collapsed into the Void I saw it as before No thought to hold, ... no thought to keep No thought to make me whole The frame was gone the world was gone! ...And nothing took its role!! I've seen I'm sure here and then Before I fall to think That word came out from inside Before my mind could blink What was it... was it to remain? I almost hear it now... Where nothing had a name... - in dream Revealed to me somehow! Where nothing had a name...? - o yes The answer to behold To all the questions in the world Ah — yes! That very word! I said before I thought at all Before I fell in the Void... It wasn't thought — it wasn't a dream It came before them both A word that rose from what was real Before I gave it thought A Reality of every tone? - The music in the beat. Is the reality of Names, of every form they hold? - Of every spark in divine flames Of every Star being told Of every man that crossed the earth, alive, - beneath the sky Of every star above the dark, of every leaf that caught the light, Of every breath, and every life,... of every world that came to be An existence — all at once — with nothing ever left to see Within and outside All names alive together? - all each carrying its own soul All names together, whole and real, each part within the whole! The moment nayed to disappear To let the next one start No piece that seals the name appeared As whole - for every part Sva Brammah held the smallest fraction For thought not able - to think The smallest time remained Its action - ...existence brings to being. That name can hold a little world and keep its pieces flowing A name can join what once seemed gone... And make the meaning known I hold the things to give them names And saw without thinking How the Universe in spin remains Without all who are living I saw that every name I spoke The Name - could tell me more But every name was more than sound it carried something whole The unity it holds inside and opens all the doors To choose the meaning as you passed To choose all mine or yours I learned that names can open doors ... I never saw before A name can hold a living whole and lead me to its core Not just a word not just a sound ... - not just a thing I say But something held together there To finish the song today I followed names from every world to world and watched the turns And every unity I found .. was something I could learn Он.
