Welcome to today’s Catholic Mass Readings for Tuesday, September 29, 2026 – the Feast of Saints Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael, Archangels. 🙏 📜 First Reading: Daniel 7:9–10, 13–14 🎶 Responsorial Psalm: Psalm 138:1–2ab, 2cde–3, 4–5 ✝️ Holy Gospel: John 1:47–51 Today we celebrate Saints Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael, Archangels, and the readings remind us of God’s glory, the victory of good over evil, and the powerful presence of His heavenly messengers. In the First Reading from Daniel, we see a majestic vision of the Ancient One and the Son of Man receiving an everlasting kingdom. This reminds us that God’s authority is eternal and His kingdom will never pass away. The Responsorial Psalm invites us to praise God in the sight of the angels. When we call upon Him, He hears us and gives us strength. God is never distant from those who seek Him with a sincere heart. In the Gospel, Jesus tells Nathanael that he will see greater things and that he will see heaven opened and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man. Jesus reveals Himself as the meeting place between heaven and earth. Saint Michael reminds us of God's protection, Saint Gabriel of God's message and call, and Saint Raphael of God's healing and guidance. Today, we are invited to trust that God continues to guide, protect, and lead His people.
