This video was a request by some students. This is how I tape together sheet music that has been printed single-sided. If I can print it myself, I normally plan for double-sided pages in the layout planning process. If there are weird page turns, I might also opt for 3 pages on one side with a strange flip, extra accordion folds, or maybe a card on the side with a single sheet. Ideally 4 pages across, though, especially with the shorter music stands. The masking tape I bought in bulk during a back-to-school sale probably more than 10 years ago and am still going through the pack. Scotch tape can tear or be sliced if the page slips off the music stand, so the slightly less sticky masking tape works better for me. "Tips for Working with a Collaborative Pianist" video has a few lengthier layout examples. There are obviously more ways of preparing sheet music, but this generally functions for most scores I've worked with. In any case, to my students who wanted this recorded: here it is :) The score I wrote the title of is Bad Coping Mechanism by Gabriel Kahane (no affiliation - I just enjoyed this modern-day Art Song):    • Bad Coping Mechanisms (2022) via craigslist   — Relevant videos/playlists: • Practical Guides to Music Making:    • Practical Guides for Music Making by a Cla...   • Tips for Working with a Collaborative Pianist:    • Tips for Working with a Collaborative Pianist   • Ravel Tier List - Sheet Music (Print Scores):    • Rating Ravel Score Editions (the printed s...   • Books I Used in Music School (Part 1):    • Books I Used in Music School (from Beginne...   — Theory: • Music Theory: A Small Guide of Reminders (Walkthrough Video):    • Music Theory: A Small Guide of Reminders |...   • Zine PDF: https://ko-fi.com/s/83858807cd — This video is for informational/educational purposes only; it is not endorsed or affiliated with any particular music institution or publisher.
