Waverly, NE City Council Meeting held on March 10, 2026 at 6:00 pm at the Community Meeting Hall 14130 Lancashire The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. A resolution amending the Employee Handbook to add a call back policy and updating seasonal wages in accordance to Nebraska's minimum wages was passed by the Council unanimously. The Council approved the Third and Final Reading of Ordinance 26-02 Amending Chapter 91 of the Waverly Municipal Code extending the Fireworks Permit Application date to May 1 each year. The 2024-25 Annual Audit as prepared by HBE, LLC was presented and accepted by the Council, which reported no material findings. Routine agenda items included approval of minutes, claims, Treasurers Report, Budget & Expense Report, and a resolution authorizing the sale of surplus personal property for Waverly Fire/Rescue.
