Let's Return to the PEAK 360 Game Gears of War 2! (Playthrough Part 1)

In this playthrough series, we play Gears of War 2 on the Xbox Series X in backwards compatibility mode. We already did Gears 1 (the original Xbox 360 version) on this channel, so check out the playlist for the full playthrough of that one before watching this! Gears 2 is amazing! I think it is the best "action movie / rollercoaster thrill ride game" you can find, up there with Modern Warfare 2 and Halo 3. This was the Xbox 360 system seller game. If there's ever a reason to get an Xbox series S or X, it would be to play the Gears trilogy with performance boosts. Seriously, this is peak. If only there was a PC port, not a remaster, just a port of this already nearly perfect game. In episode 1 of our playthrough, we pick up six months after the end of Gears 1, and things are not looking pretty: Rustlung is infecting COG soldiers as a side effect of the lightmass bomb spreading immulsion everywhere, Locust forces are aggressively attacking the city of Jacinto, and Dom's search for his missing wife Maria is getting desperate. Marcus and team must persevere through this as the COG plans its massive assault on the underground Locust stronghold! Man, it's good to be back!
