Have you ever made a decision because you thought it was the right thing to do… only to look back years later and wonder if there was another way?
Tonight on The Blind Truth, I'm sharing something personal.
When I was younger, I was in college studying Computer Information Systems. But when my girlfriend became pregnant, I made a decision to leave school.
I believed being a man meant stepping up, taking responsibility, and putting everybody else's needs ahead of my own.
And I did just that.
Now, don't misunderstand me. I don't regret being a father. I don't regret taking responsibility.
But looking back, I sometimes wonder...
Could I have taken care of my child and still finished college?
That's what we're talking about tonight.
Because sometimes we spend so much time taking care of everybody else that we forget about the future we're trying to build for ourselves.
In this conversation, we're talking about:
The decisions that change our lives
Responsibility versus personal sacrifice
Why we sometimes give up on our dreams
Learning from the past without living in regret
Finding the courage to start again
Here's The Blind Truth:
Taking care of everybody else doesn't mean you have to stop taking care of yourself.
So let me ask you something...
Have you ever put your dream on hold for somebody else?
