A day in my life as a working mom in Korea. I’m a Pilates instructor and studio owner, and I’m also raising my 16-month-old daughter. My morning starts with breakfast, medicine, and daycare drop-off. Then I head to my Pilates studio, prepare my class sequence, teach clients, go grocery shopping, have lunch at home, and return for afternoon and evening classes. Between work and motherhood, I’m constantly moving from one role to another. This is an ordinary working mom’s day in rural Korea.
