Rain on the way home, no umbrella, and a small mistake at work that wouldn't leave my head.
So tonight I'm keeping a tally of my bad luck — and cooking anyway.
Then dinner with Grandpa, where I tell him everything. His first question wasn't the one I expected…
🌸 In this video:
・A bad-day dinner: deli karaage and fried oysters, but a homemade sauce — pink tartar made with shibazuke pickles
・Onion and maitake soup from scratch (600 ml water, two bouillon cubes — the whole recipe is in the subtitles)
・Grandpa's reaction to "I messed up at work": "You actually make mistakes?"
・The cleaning service update, the moment the camera quit mid-dinner, and a dorayaki at the end of the day

I'm Masaki, 24. I work at a factory in Japan.
I live with my 88-year-old grandfather and take care of
all the cooking, shopping, laundry, and cleaning.
This channel is a quiet record of our daily life.
If you're living far from Japan and miss the small,
ordinary things — I hope this feels like a place to
come back to.

💬 What's your cure for a bad day — food, a walk, a person? I'll read the answers to Grandpa at dinner. He's still deciding whether mine counts.
