Trying SOFT PASTELS for the 1st time! || Portrait Painting 🎨

I tried soft pastels for the FIRST time…watch to see if I regret it! 😬 In this video I’m unboxing a brand new set of soft pastels, swatching all the colors, and attempting my first soft pastels portrait. I’ve worked with lots of other mediums before, but soft pastels are completely new to me - messy, vibrant, and way harder to work with than I expected.
