A bare noise field with no tonal content at all. Everything here is generated from filtered noise — no oscillators, no drones, no beats, no recordings.
How it was built:
Core bed: brown noise, rolled off hard at 320Hz with the rumble below 40Hz removed. Dark and close, the way sound arrives through a wall.
Mid veil: a second brown layer banded between 180Hz and 700Hz, sitting quietly just off-centre, swelling on a 7-minute cycle.
Upper haze: a very faint pink layer between 400Hz and 1100Hz on a ~21-minute swell, so the top of the mix slowly opens and closes across the three hours rather than holding one shape.
The stereo image is deliberately narrow — almost mono, positioned close rather than wide. No pitched elements, no sub-bass, no transients, no percussive events. Headphones are not required; this works on speakers, a phone, or anything left running in the corner of a room.
Rendered at 48kHz and mixed quiet on purpose at around -16 LUFS. 12-second fade in, 30-second fade out.
