I'd seen one Star Guardian cinematic before, was thoroughly confused by it, and assumed it was a bit of promo fluff. Six videos later I'm putting an animated trailer in S tier. I'd caught one Star Guardian cinematic in a lore video a while back, remembered being confused - magical girls, a fantasy city, something that felt completely out of place next to the rest of Runeterra - and never followed it up. So I found every Star Guardian cinematic and music video I could and watched all six back to back, putting each one on a tier list as I went. What I did not expect was how much story is in them. Teams splitting up and reforming. Characters carrying the loss of someone they couldn't save. Two groups who might be the same people at different points in time, or might be fighting each other, and by the end I still wasn't sure which. A whole fight built out of a set of broken stones. All of it made to sell skins, which is genuinely mad.
