Oasis - Live in Cardiff, Cardiff International Arena, 18/3/1996 *Correct Date*

It took 27 years to get the date right. Who could blame us? It was brought up last year that maybe the dates for the Cardiff gig are incorrect. The radio broadcast gig on the 19th, famously known as J.I.L.Y. and was supposed to be a live album but never happened (still debate that claim) was actually the first night, the 18th, not the second night. We all missed it, and it hits you so fast that you miss it initially. Liam mentioned Heavy Stereo just as Noel goes into Acquiesce. Heavy Stereo was the support band on the 18th. The Manic Street Preachers were the support band on the 19th. Wouldn't it make more sense to call out Heavy Stereo the night they performed? Liam also mentioned near the end of the gig that they couldn't come sooner but bass players and all that. It's 100% possible they were supposed to play in Cardiff back in '95. Heck, a lot of places they never got to in America, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, and in England were supposed to be on the tour but they all were moved to the Be Here Now tour. Well, the definitive way of making sure that we have the correct dates is if the audience recordings for both nights come forward. Hopefully they do, but only time will tell. A while back I did upload this gig but looking back I think it's dreadful. So, this is the updated version, with some treats sprinkled in.
