Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup 2026 – World Champions and Class Acts

Few events in sailing compare to the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup, founded by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda (YCCS) and organized in partnership with Rolex as title sponsor for more than 40 years. The 36th edition lived up to its promise, delivering a combination of spectacular scenery, challenging conditions and exceptional competition across all classes. The weather enabled the YCCS, in collaboration with the International Maxi Association, to complete the full schedule of races in a range of wind strengths that tested the skills of all teams. While the winners receive the plaudits, all owners and crews played their part. Among the major prizes Rolex IMA Maxi 1 World Championship was secured by Leopard 3, while Northstar III took Rolex IMA Maxi Grand Prix World Championship.
