Harajuku's Historic Station is Coming Back!

Harajuku’s historic station is BACK! Well, sort of! The beloved wooden station building, originally built in 1924, disappeared in 2020 when JR East replaced it with a modern station. Now, more than six years later, the iconic building is returning to one of Tokyo’s most famous neighborhoods! Today I’m LIVE at Harajuku Station to see the reconstruction, explain why the original building was removed, and discover what’s coming next. I also have rare footage from my own archives, including walking through the original station before it closed and video from when it was being demolished!
