Devi Khadgamala Stotram (खड्गमाला स्तोत्रम्) is the sword-garland of Śrī Lalitā. It is the nyāsa that walks the Śrī Cakra, from the outer gates to the bindu, naming the goddess of each enclosure and offering her a flower of salutation. The sword is the sword of consciousness. The hymn says it is recited for khaḍga-siddhi and for the fulfillment of what is truly wished. This video carries the full chant with Devanagari, transliteration, and English meaning, so you can follow each āvaraṇa. 🙏 Subscribe to Mantra Sagaraa for Vedic and Sanskrit chants with lyrics and meaning. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ✨ BENEFITS OF CHANTING KHADGAMALA ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ What the stotra itself asks for, and the enclosures it walks: • Khaḍga-siddhi — the sword of protection and clear knowing, held in the hand of the one who recites • Sarvābhīṣṭa-siddhi — fulfillment of the wishes offered to Lalitā • The hymn’s own verse: one who holds this sword becomes sovereign of the eighteen great continents. That is the traditional way of saying mastery and fearlessness, not a worldly guarantee • Protection, as the chant enters Sarvarakṣākara Cakra, she whose form is all-protection • The loosening of sorrow, fear, and obstruction, named in Sarvārthasādhaka Cakra: she who frees from all sorrow, who quiets untimely death, who wards off obstacles • Auspiciousness and the filling of what is lacking, in Sarvasaubhāgyadāyaka Cakra • The inward walk ends in Sarvānandamaya Cakra, the enclosure made of bliss, and in Śrī Lalitāmbikā herself In practice it is a complete Śrī Cakra pūjā in words. The nyāsa places the deities on the body. Many recite it on Fridays, on Lalita Panchami, through Navaratri, or whenever a full yantra worship cannot be done. These are the traditional fruits named by the hymn. They are not medical or material guarantees. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🕉 HOW TO LISTEN ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Sit facing east if you can. Begin with Om. Follow the Sanskrit and the transliteration. At each name, offer the salutation as a flower placed on the Śrī Cakra. Close with Om Śrī Lalitāmbikāyai namaḥ and śāntiḥ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ⏱ CHAPTERS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 0:00 Title 0:03 Dhyānam 0:52 Saṅkalpa 1:19 Saṅkalpa · 2 · Viniyoga 1:43 Nyāsaḥ · Kara 2:09 Nyāsaḥ · Aṅga 2:37 Dhyānam 3:25 Pañca Pūjā 4:16 Stotram · Opening 4:30 Aṅga Devyaḥ 4:46 Nityā Devyaḥ · 1–8 5:00 Nityā Devyaḥ · 9–16 5:13 Guru Maṇḍala 5:59 Siddhayaḥ 6:22 Mātṛkāḥ 6:34 Trailokya Mohana Cakra 7:01 Sarvāśāparipūraka Cakra 7:45 Sarvasaṅkṣobhaṇa Cakra 8:08 Sarvasaubhāgyadāyaka Cakra 8:48 Sarvārthasādhaka Cakra 9:21 Sarvarakṣākara Cakra 9:53 Sarvarogahara Cakra 10:09 Sarvasiddhiprada Cakra 10:29 Sarvānandamaya Cakra 10:40 Tripurā Nāmāni 10:57 Mahā Śakti Nāmāni 11:21 Closing 11:39 Sampūrṇam #KhadgamalaStotram #DeviKhadgamala #SriLalita #SriChakra #SriVidya #LalitaStotram #MantraSagaraa
