Onboard Transport Heritage NSW's "Newcastle Flyer" special hauled by 'The Legend", steam locomotive 3801, solo. This video includes the full final leg of the outbound journey from Fassifern, close to Lake Macquarie, through to Newcastle Interchange, with a stop at Hamilton. Australian based railfan (Central Coast NSW) sharing my love of trains, train travel and railways / railroads in general.
