Video kulíka bledého je natočené na břehu VDNM společně s dalšími bahňáky: vodouš tmavý, pisík obecný, jespák obecný, vodouš bahenní, kameňáček pestrý, vodouš šedý, kulík písečný. Kulík bledý (Pluvialis squatarola) má arktický typ rozšíření hlavně v Asii a Severní Americe. V Evropě hnízdí jen na severu Ruska. Přes naše území protahuje pravidelně, ale v malých počtech na rozdíl od kulíka zlatého. Ve svatebním šatu mají černou spodní stranu těla na hlavě a horní části hrudi ostře ohraničenou širokým bílým pruhem, hřbet je šedavě stříbrný a skvrnitý. V prostém šatu má hruď a část břicha světlé, hřbet je světle hnědavě šedý se světlejšími lemy pírek, mladí ptáci mají čárkování na spodině těla. Ve srovnání s kulíkem zlatým je větší, bílá páska na svrchní straně křídel je v letu výraznější, v podpaždí je typická velká černá skvrna.
