Good Luck at the LOCKS | Good FRIENDS & a PERFECT Mooring Ep 27

In this episode, I leave Penkridge and continue my journey along the canal towards Tixall Wide. Things seem to be going very much my way at the 4 Locks, where there are plenty of other boats around. With boats coming and going, gates are left open for me, meaning I get through without having to close a single gate! Sometimes you just have to take the luck when it comes your way! Further along the journey, I have a lovely surprise when I bump into friends Ric and Helen. We decide on an impromptu stop beside the towpath for a drink, a chat and a good old catch-up. It’s one of those unexpected moments that makes life on the waterways so enjoyable. Eventually, I decide there’s no need to rush and call it a day. I find a beautiful countryside mooring, settle in for the evening and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the canal. Another relaxed day afloat, with good luck at the locks, unexpected friends and a gorgeous countryside mooring to finish the day. Thanks for watching!
