Phuket Honeymoon Ep. 7 🇹🇭 | Exploring Phuket – Wat Chalong, Monkeys & Old Town

Come along with us for a full day exploring Phuket! 🇹🇭 We hired a driver and guide for the day and headed out to see a completely different side of Phuket. Our first stop was **Karon View Point**, where even with the cloudy weather we still got some beautiful views over the coastline. Next we headed to **Wat Chalong**, Phuket’s famous Buddhist temple complex. We spent some time exploring the beautiful buildings, learning a little about their history and making our way up through the temple for some amazing views. From there it was on to the **Sri Bhurapa Orchid Cashew Factory**, where we got to see how cashews are processed before tasting plenty of different flavours – and of course, we couldn't leave without buying some! Our next stop was **Phuket City Viewpoint**, but the unexpected highlight was meeting some of the local monkeys along the way. 🐒 We finished our day in **Old Phuket Town**, wandering through the colourful streets before finding the markets and trying some of the local food. By then we were absolutely exhausted, the markets were packed and we'd had a huge day, so we decided it was time to head back to the hotel.
