James Bond Island, Hidden Caves & Bioluminescent Plankton | Phuket Honeymoon Ep. 6

Our Phuket honeymoon continues with one of the most incredible days of the trip! In Episode 6, we head out into beautiful Phang Nga Bay for a full day of exploring by boat and sea canoe. We visit the famous James Bond Island (Khao Phing Kan), wander around the island, check out the little shops and take in those amazing limestone views – and of course, get the necessary selfie! From there, the adventure continues as we paddle through caves and hidden lagoons, including the Mangrove Cave. At one point Ray and I even get the chance to paddle around a quiet little bay on our own. Back onboard, we enjoy dinner while waiting for the sun to set over Phang Nga Bay before heading out for one final paddle at sunset. And once darkness falls, we get to experience something we couldn't properly capture on camera — bioluminescent plankton. Running our hands through the dark water and watching it light up was such an amazing way to finish the day. Because it was too dark for our cameras to capture the bioluminescent plankton, we have included a small amount of stock footage to show what we experienced.
