The Holy Spirit is the living Water. Are You thirsty? John 4. Pastor Andre. Sunday May 17, 2026

1. The sermon teaches that every blessing and strength comes from God, and that the Christian life is difficult without the Holy Spirit. The pastor emphasizes that human relationships cannot sustain faith the way the Holy Spirit can. 2. Using Bible: Gospel of John and Jesus’ meeting with the Samaritan woman at Jacob’s well, the pastor explains that Jesus’ “living water” represents the Holy Spirit—an eternal source that satisfies spiritual thirst rather than temporary earthly needs. 3. A major theme is spiritual exhaustion: just as Jesus became physically tired, believers also experience physical, emotional, and spiritual fatigue. The message encourages people to “stop at the well” and seek Jesus instead of relying only on worldly solutions. 4. The pastor stresses repentance and honesty before God, arguing that hidden sin, unhealthy attachments, or “spiritual marriages”/bondages can block a deeper work of the Holy Spirit. He urges listeners to separate from influences that pull them away from God. 5. Drawing from Bible: Book of Ezekiel, the sermon describes increasing depths of water as stages of spiritual growth: ankle-deep, knee-deep, waist-deep, then full immersion. The message concludes that believers should seek complete fullness of the Holy Spirit so they can become a blessing, bring healing, and lead others toward faith.
