How To Escape The Evil Time We live in. Sunday September 20, 2026 Worship Service

1. Recognize the danger of the last days: 2 Timothy 3 describes a world where people become lovers of themselves, money, pleasure, and possessions rather than lovers of God. The sermon teaches that the deeper problem is misplaced love and a heart that has put self and material things above God. 2. Let God’s Word shape your worldview: The world constantly influences how people understand truth, happiness, success, relationships, and morality. Believers are encouraged to be nourished by Scripture so they can discern truth and avoid deception. 3. Follow a godly way of life: Knowing Scripture is not enough; believers should practice what they learn. The sermon encourages Christians to live as representatives, or “ambassadors,” of Christ and to make their faith visible through their conduct. 4. Be careful about influences and persevere: Friends, social media, celebrities, and other voices can influence beliefs and habits. The sermon warns that “evil company corrupts good habits” and encourages believers to continue in the truth, avoid giving up during difficult seasons, and trust God’s timing. 5. Rely on God’s Word and Spirit: The conclusion emphasizes that God has provided His Word and His Spirit to help believers overcome difficult times. Instead of responding with fear or taking shortcuts, Christians are encouraged to remain faithful, seek God’s guidance, wait patiently, and trust His promises.
