Roof Of Africa Day 2 Highlights

Day 2 at the Roof of Africa delivered one of the most intense stages of the 2026 season. Teo Kabakchiev, Wade Young, Manuel Lettenbichler and Matthew Green broke from the field early and fought through 110km of the Maloti Mountains together — Kabakchiev ultimately taking the stage by just 32 seconds over Young. When the cumulative times were added, just 1 minute 21 seconds covered the top three overall. Everything goes to the Final Ascent on Saturday. Elsewhere, James Moore — yesterday's Time Trial winner — suffered a mechanical in Stage 1 that ended his chances of the overall win. Luke John Walker claimed his first FIM Hard Enduro World Junior Championship stage win. Thomas Scales continued his run of impressive consistency.
