Leandra (PaperArtsy founder and creative guide!) is here with a Mini-LIVE CRAFTalong full of layered texture, colour, and creativity! In this relaxed, interactive demo, you’ll explore techniques using our beautiful Birds Printed Tissue (PT11) — a charming design that’s perfect for layering into dreamy backgrounds. Leandra will guide you through a fun and achievable project using, Brayered backgrounds in soft, off-white tones (think Caramel, Sand, Nougat or Toffee), using Birds Printed Tissue (PT11) as your focal point, and Mattints of your choice – 18 to choose from, including the newest shades Foxglove, Bellflower, and Shadow. You’ll learn how to: Brayer soft backgrounds for subtle depth, use tissue as a focal layer in your composition, and apply Mattints to tint and glue tissue with a soft, vintage feel. Then you can build mat layers using contrast colours (e.g. blue, purple, green). Products used: • 2–3 sheets of white A4 card • 1 sheet of vintage book paper • PaperArtsy Printed Tissue – PT11 (Birds design) • A brayer • A selection of 2-3 PaperArtsy Mattints (e.g., Foxglove, Bellflower, Shadow – or any favourites) • Paints in off-white tones (e.g. Sand, Nougat, Caramel, Toffee) • A contrast colour of your choice (e.g. 2 blues) This video is a saved Livestream from Facebook.
