Boiling mud pots, active steam vents, alpine lakes, and almost zero crowds. Tucked away in Northern California, Lassen Volcanic feels less like a typical national park and more like another planet.
Come along for 48 hours living out of my truck camper as I explore Lassen Volcanic National Park. In this video, we hike through the geothermal wonders of Bumpass Hell, chase waterfalls at Kings Creek Falls, explore the volcanic blast zone at the Devastated Area, camp under the Milky Way at Manzanita Lake, and cook up some great camp meals.
