Afghanistan has officially inaugurated a 121-kilometer-long road in the Wakhan Corridor of Badakhshan province that extends to the Chinese border. Stretching from the Broghil region to the 'zero point' at the Chinese border, the road was constructed at a cost of approximately 365 million Afghanis (about $5.5 million). According to Afghan officials, the project holds political, strategic, and economic significance. However, it would be premature to label it a fully operational commercial trade route, as customs facilities and other border infrastructure are yet to be established. The Wakhan Corridor is crucial for Afghanistan-China connectivity and holds strategic importance due to its proximity to Pakistan-administered Gilgit-Baltistan and the territory claimed by India; nevertheless, it would be incorrect to claim that the opening of this road directly connects Afghanistan to India. #wakhan #wakhancorridor #afghanistan #china #pakistan #gilgitbaltistan #geopolitics #worldnews Breaking News | Latest News | Hindi News | Live Update | India News | Hindi News Live | Top News | Breaking -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Watch All the Latest Breaking News Around the World only On India News -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- india news | india news channel | india news channel Live | india news Live | hindi news live | hindi news | hindi news live today | latest news | live news | breaking news in hindi | hindi breaking news | india news live| india news channel | breaking news | news in hindi | youtube | hindi news breaking | breaking news in hindi | hindi news | latest news | breaking news #indianews #hindinews #news #breaking #indianewstv #latestnews About Us: India News( India न्यूज़) is one of India’s most trusted and popular News channels, providing the latest national and international news in Hindi.
