Nipsey Hussle - C.O.L.O.R.S Mixtape (2015) (FULL MIXTAPE)

Sharing a project I worked on between 2015 and 2016: C.O.L.O.R.S, an unofficial remixtape dedicated to Nipsey Hussle, one of my all-time favorite artists. It was created out of pure love for his music, his vision, and West Coast rap. For this tape, I handled all the beats from scratch, along with the mixing and mastering, aiming to put my own spin on his acapellas while always respecting the essence of his sound. A few special details about the project: Retitled "Rose Clique" as "LA State Of Mind", using the classic sample from Nas' "NY State Of Mind," but adapting it to Nipsey's heavy, West Coast style. Created fictional collaborations (mashups) I always wanted to hear: featuring Lil Wayne on "They Know" and Nas on "Run A Lap." Gave "A Miracle" a cinematic feel with a Django Unchained-inspired concept. This is an underground tribute from a fan to everyone who truly values Neighborhood Nip's legacy.
