Nipsey Hussle - C.O.L.O.R.S Mixtape Vol. 2 (2019) (FULL MIXTAPE)

Sharing C.O.L.O.R.S Vol. 2, the second volume of the unofficial Nipsey Hussle remixtape. I worked on this project between 2018 and 2019, handling all the beats, mixing, and mastering in the studio. Unfortunately, I released this tape shortly before Nipsey passed away, so listening back to it always brings a bittersweet feeling. Still, it remains a project made out of pure love and respect from a fan to one of my all-time favorite artists. For this tape, I put together 8 remixes keeping that heavy West Coast vibe. A few highlights from the tracklist: For "Mark My Words" featuring Rick Ross, I flipped the classic "Deep Cover" instrumentals by Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg into a modern interpolation. Kept the original features with Rick Ross, Buddy, Stacy Barthe, and Dom Kennedy. Created fictional collabs (mashups) bringing in Meek Mill on "They Know" and Cardi B on "The Mansion."
