Sailing from Darwin 🇦🇺 to Saumlaki, Indonesia 🇮🇩

Join us in this sailing video for a short and fairly smooth passage from Darwin to Saumlaki, Indonesia, that sees us a world away from where we left from a couple of days prior. After a slow and frustrating start with no wind and a humongous fishing line tangled in the propeller in the middle of the night, beautiful sailing conditions prevailed to Saumlaki. A good opportunity for us to saw the Indonesian flag by hand. We hadn’t found an Indo flag in Darwin and making landfall in Indonesia flagless would have been a big No No, in a country where flags and uniforms are held in high regard! Once checked in we took the opportunity to ramble around and discover this new colorful country and its people throughout. Indonesian people were one of a kind! So far so good! But not for long!
