On October 16, 2025, 10-year-old Lilly collapsed at school, changing her life and the lives of everyone who loves her forever. In this video, Lilly’s mom, grandma, sister, and best friend share what they remember about that day, the months of hospitalization and rehabilitation that followed, and the incredible progress Lilly has made. From the lifesaving care she received at ‪@UCSFMedicalCenter‬UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals to the months of rehabilitation at Valley Children’s Hospital, Lilly’s recovery has been supported by dedicated doctors, nurses, therapists, and so many others who have helped her along the way. After 209 days in the hospital, Lilly returned home and continues working hard toward her recovery, celebrating new milestones along the way. Her family also shares why they created Lilly’s Journey of Hope & AVM Foundation. What began as one family’s experience has grown into a mission to raise awareness about pediatric arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) and arteriovenous fistulas (AVFs), support other children and families facing similar challenges, and give back to the Rehabilitation Department at ‪@ValleyChildrens‬ Hospital. Whether you have followed Lilly from the beginning or recently discovered her story, we invite you to learn more about her journey and the mission behind the foundation. 💚 Learn more, follow Lilly’s progress, or support the foundation: https://www.lillysjourneyofhope.org A special thank you to Maximus Media for helping us share Lilly’s story.
