*The read my thoughts and explanations turn on captions.* This is a conventional 4K flat video exported from my previously published DJI Avata 360 indoor 8K 60FPS spherical recording. I wanted to revisit the original footage and compare how it looks as a conventional 4K video rather than an interactive 360° panorama. During the flight, I used head tracking with my DJI goggles. DJI Studio automatically reproduced my original viewing directions in the flat export, without any manual reframing. So what you see is essentially where I was looking during the flight. Both original test flights took place inside our former factory, using identical camera settings. *Recording and export settings:* Original recording: 8K 360° at 60FPS ISO: 100 Shutter speed: 1/240 Color profile: D-Log M Flat export: 4K 60FPS MP4 at 160 Mbps Color adjustment: +50 saturation As expected, there is noticeable image warping when flying close to furniture and walls, where stitching the two fisheye images becomes more challenging. What surprised me was that the 60FPS footage looked cleaner and more pleasing to watch in the darker rooms than the 30FPS version. I had expected the opposite after reading that 30FPS can offer better low-light image quality. Since both recordings used ISO 100 and a 1/240 shutter speed, the exposure time per frame was identical. These are not new test flights. They're flat exports from my previously published 8K spherical recordings, allowing viewers to compare the same source material in a different format. I'm curious whether you notice the same differences between the two recordings.
