Hacking an Invacare Pronto Electric Wheelchair - Part 1

Back in 2010 I was thinking about building some kind of automated machine or robot for cleaning up the hundreds of windfall apples from my lawn each week. Rather than buying new motors I decided to pick up an old electric wheelchair from ebay and take the motors from that, but once I got hold of the wheelchair it turned to have some interestingly hackable internals.
