Student Leadership in Action | Class Captain Elections Leadership is not simply about holding a position; it is about taking responsibility, making decisions, serving others, and setting a positive example. In our school, we have introduced a Class Captain Election System instead of the traditional monitor system to provide students with a practical opportunity to develop leadership skills and experience a democratic process. The election process was designed around multiple criteria, including: • Academic Performance • Discipline and Conduct • Leadership Qualities • Sense of Responsibility • Communication Skills • Teamwork and Cooperation • Student Manifesto and Vision Students participated in the process by presenting their manifestos, ideas, and plans for improving their classroom environment. The entire process gave them an opportunity to understand the importance of choice, responsibility, accountability, and respectful participation. This initiative aims to develop confident, responsible, disciplined, and socially conscious students who can become effective leaders in their school and community. Through such practical activities, we believe that education goes beyond textbooks—it prepares students for real-life leadership and responsible citizenship.
